Having issues with Dead Headz ?

Every now and then a game comes along that just makes you stop mid-spin and think, “What on earth am I looking at?” — and that’s exactly what happened with Dead Headz.

This one’s from Jinx Gaming, who seem to have teamed up with Hacksaw to bring their distinctive chaos into something new. It’s got the look, the energy, and the absolute weirdness you’d expect from a Hacksaw game — but it’s all done under Jinx’s name.

The result? A game that’s part slot, part zombie shooter, and part fever dream… and somehow, it works.

First Impressions

Straight off the bat, Dead Headz feels like it’s built for speed — even though you can toggle between normal, turbo, and super turbo spins, the action’s in the bonus round, not the base game.

The base itself is pretty standard: spin away, land three of the skull “heads”, and that’s your ticket to the bonus. You’ll catch a few small multipliers along the way, but let’s be honest — everyone’s here for what happens when those heads align.

Inside the Bonus Round

This is where things get wild.

Once you buy into the bonus (for 150× your stake), the game switches from traditional slot mode to what feels like a zombie survival sequence. You start with six spins — or “waves” — and multipliers sitting on each lane. From there, it’s all about shooting zombies before they get to you.

Each spin loads up three bullets — one for each lane — and you never quite know where they’ll fire. You’re literally hoping the bullet lands on the right zombie at the right time. Miss, and your multiplier potential starts to die off faster than a one-armed zombie in a shootout.

The zombies themselves come in colours — blue, orange, green, and occasionally red — each with its own effect. Blue ones give you small additions, orange ones boost a specific lane, green adds multipliers across all lanes, and the red… well, the red barely shows up but when it does, it’s chaos in the best possible way.

The Chaos, The Sound, The Glory

Now let’s talk about that soundtrack.

Honestly, it’s tragic. The voice acting sounds like it was recorded through a tin can in a wind tunnel. But you know what? Somehow it just adds to the charm. You’ve got growling zombies, over-the-top gunfire, and one-liners so bad they loop back around to being funny again.

The atmosphere though — that’s where this game shines. Every wave feels like you’re hanging on by a thread. One wrong spin and it’s over. But nail a few of those orange and green zombies, and suddenly the multipliers start stacking up and things can turn in your favour fast.

In one round I ended up pulling a 60×, another brought back 83×, and one particularly grim run ended around 54×. It’s all over the place, but that’s part of the fun.

Thoughts After a Few Rounds

Dead Headz is the kind of slot that doesn’t take itself too seriously. It’s loud, a bit silly, but properly entertaining when the bonus gets going. The mechanics are genuinely different — it’s not just another reskin — and it’ll definitely appeal to players who like games with personality.

The only real drawback for UK players is the usual one: you can’t buy the bonus round here, so you’ll be stuck grinding for it naturally. And trust me, this one’s much more fun when you can just jump straight into the chaos.

But if you’re outside the UK or playing in demo mode, the bonus buys are absolutely worth exploring — it’s the best way to experience the game’s full potential.

Verdict – 7.5/10

Dead Headz isn’t perfect, but it’s memorable. It’s unpolished in places, unapologetically messy, and that’s exactly what makes it great.

If you want something different — a slot that feels more like a tongue-in-cheek zombie shooter than a casino game — this one’s worth keeping on your radar.

Just be warned: once you’ve heard that voiceover say, “This is not the last of me…” — you’ll never forget it.
