Deadeye might have a classic Wild West vibe, but under the hood, it’s loaded with some seriously creative features. Here’s what to expect when you step into the saloon:
💥 Steel Plates & Revolver Mechanic
One of the core gameplay mechanics involves steel plates that sit above the reels. As you spin, you’ll be aiming to land symbols that charge up a revolver. Once it’s full, the revolver fires across the top, activating features like multiplier boosts, symbol splits, and wilds. It’s a bit like Duel at Dawn—but with more bite.

🎯 Multiplier Mayhem
Deadeye’s multipliers are where things can get wild. Whether through base game hits, the bonus round, or super spins, the multipliers can build up to insane levels. During the super bonus, you can even see multipliers soaring past 700x — although hitting them still depends on landing the right symbols beneath.

🤠 Duel Feature
When two steel plates land on the same spin, it triggers a Duel, and one of the multipliers takes over the entire reel row. This can lead to big wins—if luck’s on your side. Just be warned: the duel doesn’t always go your way. A low-X win can still sneak through!

🎁 Bonus Rounds
There are two main bonus types:
- Standard Bonus: Triggered by landing 3 or more bonus symbols, with 11 free spins as the usual starting point. Steel plates and revolver mechanics stay in play here, letting multipliers and wilds build as you go.
- Super Bonus: Things get dialed up here. Every bonus symbol that lands brings two bullets, which speeds up revolver charges. The multipliers can go off the charts—but as always, high risk = high reward. Some super bonuses fizzle out, others explode with huge wins.
💡 Feature Buy (Outside the UK)
If you’re playing outside of the UK, you’ll likely have access to feature buy options including:
- Shots Fired: Quick spins with active plates
- Duel Spins: Guaranteed duel events
- Super Bonus Buy: Straight into the premium bonus mode (pricey, but powerful)
UK players will only have access to standard spins due to regulations, so your path to the super bonus will depend on whether ELK allows natural spins to trigger it — something still unclear at launch.
10p Gamer Conclusion
Deadeye is another bold entry from ELK Studios, taking some familiar mechanics—like the duel feature from Duel at Dawn—and loading them up with fresh intensity. The game delivers big on visual impact, and those revolver-loaded bonus mechanics can escalate fast, especially in the super bonus where multipliers can hit truly wild levels (that 768x hit could’ve gone nuclear!).
That said, there’s a bit of a caveat. As of now, it’s unclear whether you can spin into the super bonus naturally, and if that’s locked behind a feature buy only, it could put off some UK players due to restrictions. Fingers crossed ELK hasn’t gone that route.
Overall, Deadeye looks like great value with exciting potential, even on standard spins. Definitely one to try in demo mode before it launches — and you can give it a whirl over at 10pGamer.co.uk right now on free play.
Let me know in the comments what you think — is this the best ELK game yet? Or are you still loyal to Nitropolis or the Pirates series?
