Gaming Realms are back with another creative Slingo release, and this time they’re taking us to the Slingo Candy Machine — with a blast. Following a string of Slingo successes on the 10p Gamer Channel, we were naturally curious to see what this sweet new entry had lined up.
The most immediate change you’ll notice is the dramatically reduced number of starting spins — just five! But there’s a method to the madness. Slingo Candy Machine Bl4st introduces a unique mechanic where matching candies within a single spin can clear multiple tiles, creating chain reactions that might even open the whole board in one go. On top of that, landing four or more matching candies in one spin triggers an instant win — called the “Blast Payout” — which can pay out up to a juicy 500x.

Of course, the core Slingo ingredients are all still here: wilds, super wilds, blockers, bonus spins and the option to buy more spins at the end of your game. From our demo arcade session, everything feels familiar and fun — a welcome balance between new mechanics and classic gameplay.
However, the prize table does feel a bit underwhelming this time around. The max cash prize is capped at 250x, and while it’s all straight cash wins (no bonus rounds), that might be a miss for those who enjoy the thrill of unlocking extra game features. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it slightly dampens the excitement, especially for us — we’re big fans of the Slingo games that pack in a bonus game punch.

Still, despite that, Slingo Candy Machine Bl4st is another solid, imaginative release from Gaming Realms. It’s colourful, it’s creative, and it’s got just enough new flavour to keep us coming back for another spin. Expect to see this one pop up on the 10p Gamer Channel very soon.
